World's top 10 highest paid actresses


1. Jennifer Lawrence



Jennifer Lawrence is the youngest woman on this list, but she’s also the highest-paid, according to Forbes. She was also named the highest-paid actress in 2015. 
The “Hunger Games” actress earned $46 million before taxes, which includes upfront money from her upcoming film “Passengers.”
In spite of her success, the actress wrote an essay in October for Lena Dunham’s online newsletter called “Why Do I Make Less Than My Male Co‑Stars?”

2. Melissa McCarthy


Melissa McCarthy took home $33 million, per Forbes, largely because of her role in “Ghostbusters.” The actress also starred in 2016’s “The Boss.”

3. Scarlett Johansson


Scarlett Johansson took home $25 million; she made $17.5 million from the film “Ghost in Shell,” reports Forbes.

Forbes reports that the bulk of Jennifer Aniston’s $21 million in earnings comes from endorsements with brands like Smartwater and AVeeno.

5. Fan Bingbing


American fans may not be too familiar with Fan Bingbing, but she is China’s biggest starlet. The actress earned $17 million from local movies as well as advertisements for brands like L’Oreal, reports Forbes.

Charlize Theron is back on the list; she was last a top 10 earner in 2013. She is rumored to have made $10 million from “The Huntsman,” bringing her to $16.5 million in earnings, reports Forbes.

Amy Adams raked in $13.5 million, reports Forbes. She played Lois Lane in 2016’s “Batman v. Superman.”
